Mascots are supposed to bring luck, but the men and women who use mascot costumes have has a few breaks themselves in the past few decades. The outfits are much lighter now, and there is even an exhaust system complete with a very small fan within the head, therefore it’s not so hot in there which helps that mascot keep the energy for the entire game.
